09/24/24Second Annual Inter-Club Solheim Cup CHLGA vs SLGA
T, NP A 2-day 2-person team match play event culminating in an engraved Bragging Rights plaque which will be displayed in the winning club house until the next competition.
A team of 16 players will represent each Club. Solicitation for CHLGA players will begin on September 3, 2024. Members who wish to participate in the event should commit to both days of play. Anyone signing up after a roster of 16 is reached will be considered as “stand by”.
Each confirmed player will pay an entry fee of $25.00 with no crossover charges. There will be no chits earned for this event. Participating players on the winning team will receive pro shop credit.
All competitive players will be flighted using the handicap index based on September 17th GHIN. During play, competitors will be handicapped off the low handicap golfer in the foursome or twosome.
First day of play hosted by CHLGA playing 1 BB of the twosome in match play format. Those CHLGA members not playing in the Solheim Cup on 09/24 may compete on their home course in an Individual Simply Play Golf event and are eligible for chits. Bylaw Article X.1 will be enacted if less than 12 players play in this group.

11/26/24Thanksgiving Scramble
T, NPEach player in the group drives off the tee, then all four golfers play their second shots from the best-driven ball. All then play their third shots from the best second ball, and so on. Each player in a foursome must have at least four of their drives used by the group. Don't wait until the end! Score as running total. ABCD teams.
